Application of analytic hierarchy process for mapping flood vulnerability in Odisha using Google Earth Engine
Book: Google Earth Engine and Artificial Intelligence for Earth Observation Year: 2025 Google Earth Engine
This study demonstrates the use of AHP in Google Earth Engine to identify vulnerable areas for flood hazards in Odisha. Key parameters selected for this study are elevation, rainfall distribution, land cover, slope, TWI, NDVI, Soil, and Distance from water bodies. The resulting maps provide a robust delineation of areas highly prone to flooding.
